the morning of…
How does one prepare for the best day ever?
Breakfast, champagne, blister pads, pensive thoughts and some hairspray…
the ceremony…
The moment that matters.
As the clock struck 12:30 on a sunny and unusually cold November Saturday, the bride walked down a curved aisle lined with South African calla lilies to the instrumental serenade of John Mayer’s Last Train Home. There she met her groom under a magnificent Moreton Bay Fig tree to promise forever and always.
As a kookaburra’s laughter echoed through the trees, they vowed to love, honour and cherish each other, shed some tears, shared a kiss and then everyone cheered!
“I promise to feed you when you’re hangry…”
“My eyes will look upon you with kindness
My lips will speak words of truth
My ears will hear all you say
My body will breathe your breath
My heart will love your heart
My soul will know your soul”

THE RECEPTION
Glamour and fun took over crumbling old Moana Hall where the new marriage was celebrated. Welcomed with freshly shucked oysters and Veuve Clicquot, the guests started the party before the couple arrived.
Delicious food was served at long tables of friends and family while cheeky, tear-jerking and hilarious speeches were lovingly spoken.
The cake was cut, the cocktails flowed, the dancing commenced and continued long into the night.
Safe to say, this is the most fabulous long lunch to ever be hosted on Hay Street!
